Used equipment bought from MPB, Wex, Park Cameras etc

Just bought from both LCE and, Park Cameras in the last week, both items were delivered on time, well packaged and virtually brand new in original packaging.

No hesitation to buy from either again.

I have used LCE and Wex for a couple of transactions each and found both to be good. Also used York Camera Mart for purchase of used lens and other items, excellent service both in shop and online (during Covid lockdown).

To date I have found the best deals by far come from Wex , there grading system is very accurate

I purchased a Canon 1DX from them, all as described and arrived quickly. Comes with a guarantee, happy days see

I've bought various items over the years.
In my experience Park Cameras are unquestionably good; no issues.
Wessex Photo, a little disappointed that the very good Tokina 17mm has a very wobbly barrel but for the price it's not worth complaining.
LCE - first lens excellent, packed in foam cut out, excellent condition, second lens was sent one of different make, focal length (and mount!!) and the replacement was in excellent cosmetic condition but the aperture blades are sticky; again not complaining because of price. One thing that concerns me is that the used inventory on their website is not live, that is when you purchase an item it shows as available for sale for a number of days afterwards.
Ffordes, generally decent prices and reasonably accurate descriptions, the only exception is a recent film body purchase that didn't mention that the camera back needs a tug to open (probably because someone's done a quick a dirty light seal replacement and wasn't too accurate with it).
Harrison Cameras, great pics of items and good description. One lens has sticky aperture blades but nothing that a concerted button pressing session won't cure.
No direct purchase experience from WEX but I have to say that I've had occasion to call my local branch a few times and am seriously impressed by the professionalism and knowledge shown (even recommending a competitor for a repair on a film body).
