I think Sover Wong does this for some small parts of the F2. It should be perfectly feasible to make just about any part for the cameras of that era, if costly. It's just engineering and there are no electronics to worry about.

One would assume that some body parts wear out faster than others but given an 'owner's club' type set up willing to commission parts in hundreds, the item cost shouldn't be too great. What would be prohibitively expensive is re-manufacturing pre-AI era lenses and glass to the same quality and tolerances as the original.
A metal barrelled, hand polished F1.4 Nikkor would probably cost £thousands, even if a sympathetic lens manufacturer put a production line aside to make them. Winder handles, dials or even better, a base plate adapted to take modern batteries shouldn't cost too much.
 
I would think of a shotgun like a film camera. It basically fulfils the function of firing the shot (or exposing the film) as directed by the shooter. I am not sure what a digital camera would be though. Perhaps a lazer. Hmm...

Style and gracefulness are purely subjective, but as far as build goes, yes the Mondeo is far superior to the Jaguar. Mechanically cars are far more robust these days and remember, cars of that era would commonly turn to iron oxide in three years, it's rare nowadays to see anything much under 10 years old (Mercedes excepted) with even a spot of rust on it.
