My iMac only has a few USB ports and I need to use more. I have used USB hubs before and currently have a Belkin 6 port powered hub.
But I wondered if there is one out there that can perform closer to the inbuilt ports.
I have a couple of external drives plugged into the iMac and a hub. I use the hub to connect my iPhone and it works fine. However, I have just bought a new iPad and connecting that to the hub is causing problems. If I connect it to the mac then all is well.
So, I really need a hub that will enable the iPad to connect properly. I need the drives to be plugged into the Mac because they don't work well on the hub either. It would be great if I had just one more inbuilt usb port!
Any ideas?
