USA Launches Missile Strikes Against Syria

The US has carried out a missile attack against targets in Syria in response to a suspected chemical weapons attack on a rebel-held town.

A Pentagon official said about 50 Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired from US Navy destroyers in the eastern Mediterranean at a Syrian air base.

I hope for all of us that there where no Russian officials killed in those strikes.

Apparently the Russians were warned beforehand of the strike.

The Russians are of course not happy but Putin is supposed to have said that there will be no escalation from Russians.

However the Russians have also said that they are suspending the air safety agreement they had with the USA in Syria, this was in place to help the two powers avoid clashes between their air forces in the skies over Syria.
