URGENT - need to change colour space to enter photo into competition which ends today

Hi,

I need to change the colour space on my photos to enter them into a competition which ends today. I do not have photoshop and want to know if there is any other way I can do it.:shake::thinking:

Do you have any editing package at all? If not go online and download GIMP it is free and gives similar usability to Photoshop and should IIRC allow you to change the colourspace.

You could download a free 30 day trial of Lightroom from Adobe. Simply import the image(s) you want converted and then export them with the correct colour space.
 
i downloaded GIMP and when I open an image it says:

"The Image "0067489.jpg" has an embedded colour profile

Adobe RGB (1998)

Convert the image to RGB working space (sRGB built-in)?"

Does this mean that at the moment the iimage is RGB or that the image is sRGB at the moment?

I don't use Gimp but I would assume that to mean it's RGB now, although it's not that clear.
 
looks to me it's AdobeRGB at the mo and offering to convert to sRGB
