Urgent help needed on CS4

Using the RAW processing part, before when I used the crop tool it kept the proportions while cropping. Since re-installing this doesn't happen and i can make the crop any shape. Anyone know how I can change it back?

If the Crop tool isn’t working as expected, press Esc to exit the tool and click the Clear button to reset it – some settings are sticky and you may not remember you had set it to special crop settings earlier in an editing session.

Lee, if yo right clik when the crop tool is open, you will get a set of ratios to crop to. Yours is prob set to custom.

Tried this and it did nothing, thanks for the reply.
