What Software are you using?

Regards.

What software are you printing from? LR/Photoshop?

One thing you can try is turning off the gloss ink. I had the problem with lines on gloss paper when the printer defaults to using gloss ink that you really dont need. Try that.

Alternatively you might need to think about setting up the correct printer/paper profiles and using Photoshop (or whatever you are printing from) to manage the profiles.

Epson set up on a PC and a Mac are slightly different.

If you are running OSX 10.6.6 you should have the latest drivers installed. If in doubt go to the Epson web site and download the latest ones.

Now when it comes to printing, when you press the print button you should get a dialogue box pop up.

In the middle you'll see a panel, by default it's will display "LAYOUT" now click on the up/down arrows and you'll get a drop down box. You want to go to print settings, where you'll find a list of paper types.within the box labelled Media type. I suspect it's set to plain paper. Choose a suitable ink jet paper from the list available. If in doubt choose a glossy one.

You can save these settings as a preset, buy going to the "Preset" box at the top of the box. Click on the up/down arrows and choose save as, you'll get a new box where you can name this. Type in a name . choose OK and you can always come back to this if needed

You can still tell the program to manage printing on a Mac. Normally you get better control that way.
