Hello Forum!

I Currently own a Panasonic GH1 with a 100-300mm Lens (Made by Panasonic for the Panasonic GH1)

I Have been offered from a friend in Germany, a 50-500mm Sigma (Four thirds fit) I Already know this will require the Four thirds to Micro four thirds adapter which i will happily buy.

But, the lens i own now is a 600mm Equivalent.. So will the new Sigma lens double up.. or will it be less than what i have now?

I Know my questions sounds stupid.. but i'm very confused!

Tripod defiantly well worth needed then! Thank you for answering :) Also one more thing, will it effect quality or F Stop?

I Really appreciate your help guys, and i can now say.. I am now a Proud owner of a Sigma (BIGMA) 50-500mm :) Look forward to it arriving.. !

I Can't help think... im going to need a more sturdy tripod.. It's going to be heavy ended compared to the Panasonic GH1... should get interesting! But going to be a HUGE help with wildlife photography.. :)
