I'm looking for 'urban' locations to photograph in Maidenhead (without running the risk of being attacked by a mob of hooded teenagers) - any recommendations?
The market area is possibly ok or try Bracknell for 60s architecture. The bottom end of town close to that new building complex is also a little "lived in"
Try Warewolf tunnels, the old warehouses by halfords or the demolished building by the police station roundabout.
Half of the town centre is pretty urban these days.

Theyre part of the railway tunnels that run from the sounding arch, the easiest bit to get to is down stafferton way, just past halfords etc, follow the footpath past the stream and you will get to the tunnels.Keep of the moors!!!!!!!!
