I am in need of some advice and I thought that this would be the best place to ask.

I am finding myself drawn to doing more urban photography and I am finding that my 17-50 mm Tamron is not giving me a wide enough view in narrow streets etc. I was thinking of investing in either a Sigma or Tamron 10-24mm lens. Has anyone got either of these lens and what do you think of it. Another option would be the 10-17mm Pentax fisheye but that might be a bit extreme. If you have any other recommendations for a good urban lens (pentax fit) please let me know.

I haven't used either of the two lenses you mentioned, but did own the sigma for a long time and it was a fine lens. Slightly prone to flare, but that's wide angles for you. I have also owned the Samyang 8mm which gave some lovely results, I shot mostly landscapes with mine but check out my flickr stream for examples. Have recently moved to FF for landscapes but still own the K5 and a Sigma 70-200. I wouldn't go for the Pentax fisheye over the Sigma purely for cost purposes I don't think you gain much for the extra outlay.
