Yes
I'm calling on our Devonian members for a bit of local knowledge.
I have a photojournalism assignment to shoot for a photography course where the brief is "Provide 5 shots of urban decay in your area for a local newspaper story".

I've been out in my local towns (i.e Newton Abbot and Torquay) but the only shots i could find were a bit of graffiti and a Tescos trolley in a stream. Not very exciting :shake:

I guess i'm looking for some derelict factories or really old rundown buildings that would make an interesting shot.

I'm not sure if there's anything like this in Plymouth or Exeter? Open to any suggestions really

Why out check out this link

http://www.geograph.org.uk

its a great site for finding derelicts, abandoned stuff, etc.

I use it alot as well as the other exploring sites to find stuff local.

Cheers

Cheers for the thanks lol. 28dl may not be the easiest site to gain info. Have even G

i think on 28dl I saw a write up of exeter train sheds, I don't know where they are though, I can't see them near st davids or central

also there's davidstow airfield in north devon (i think might be cornwall - can't remember which way it is from bude :P) not very urban but is very decayed
