Upstage me if you can ..

I got one more, if multiple submissions are allowed :). It came back to me a couple of days later. When I was about 10, I was lucky enough to sit in the cockpit of one of the real Red Arrows parked on the tarmac in the line of 9.

I've done the same, sat in Red 10 back in October when they were in Belfast for the Bombardier open day.

Most of mine are meets have been with motorbike racers, but some that stick out for me were meeting Troy Corser, Geoff Duke, and from trials Dougie Lampkin and Adam Raga.

Also, when I was 6 or 7 I got to meet the Germany footie team when they played over here, can't really remember much though just have their autographs.

hmmm, well, we have several well know british acting luvvies as long standing customers, my late Pa-in-law was a knight for services to athletics and I have had many a drink with a many a well known comediene on the northern club circuit way back when and all that, but my favourite is still something I did when I was 9 yrs old. We went to our local country fete and I got to meet the guest of honour and rub nis nose.... :naughty:

I was also allowed to give him a polo mint, his name was Red Rum :D

I sat on a train next to Sue Pollard from Birmingham to Donny. She was well ******ed - watching Hi-Dee-Hi will never be the same again...

I was only saying to Hugh Grant just the other day that there are too many people obsessed with celebrity connections. After a while we were joined by Jude Law,Robbie Williams and Madonna (shes a real pet--luv her to bits) who completely agreed with us.We couldnt take the conversation much further as we were all off to Eltons for tea.Still where would we all be without fans eh ?
