I hope I'm posting this in the right section.
I took this picture of the International Space Station the other night and wanted to share it via my Twitter.

I used the file posted above - resized to 1024 pixels as I normally do for this forum, that size of file also uploads quickly and easily to Twitter directly via the desktop website.
The problem is when I viewed the picture on my phone as it has been posted on Twitter it looks like this (phone screenshot)

It looks awful!
I know many pictures on Twitter on my phone look superb so it doesn't have to be bad via Twitter or bad on my phone screen, what's the problem with my picture that's making it look so bad on mobile devices?
