I have an image of a ploughed field.
The colourspace is ProPhoto and when I export to jpg from PS, the resulting image looks fine.
When I upload to Flickr, the brown of the soil looks dull, whereas the original and jpg look somewhat golden.
What am I doing wrong?

Cheers
Gary

Change your colour space output to sRGB. The web is "optomised" for this colourspace. ProPhoto or Adobe RGB for printing.

Here's the image in question (linked from Flickr)...

As per the initial post, when I view the jpg on my PC, the soil has more of a golden glow and the tree is a mixture of pleasing greens and browns. The Flickr version is dark and dull.

OK, so how do I change the colorspace output to sRGB in CS3? (The raw file was exported from Lightroom as ProPhoto).

Yay, got it....Edit, Convert to Profile (thanks EOS_JD)....

Glad to have helped - I was out last night so didn't get a chance to respond further.
