Upgrading SDD in PC

I've ordered a new bigger SSD an evo 850 250gb to replace my smaller evo 840 120gb.

I already have my data stored on a separate mechanical 500gb drive in the PC.

Question is, should I keep the old drive as a spare or should I reuse it in the PC? And how best could I reuse it to get maximum performance for Photoshop use?

Use it as a scratch disk works well imho use it in Windows and setup virtual memory also can help

Have 1 SSD as a boot and photoshop drive, other SSD for other programmes and keep the HDD for media files.
