Beginner Upgraded from 350D to 7D Mk11 now have AW file issues on computer

Evening Everyone,
I'm new to this forum so this is first question. I have just upgraded from a 350D to a 7D MK11 all pictures are put into the Pictures folder on my Mac to view post editing in LR. When transferring images from my 350D I had no problems opening & viewing RAW CR2 images in the Pictures folder. When images are copied from my new card/camera Pictures does not recognise the CR2 file. Can anyone offer any advice/guidance as to why this might be happening?
 
I suggest you check what version of ACR you are using. The 7D mkII is a newish camera. Your version of ACR might not support it. If this is the case go onto the Adobe site and download the latest version of ACR.

Thanks I have checked and we are running the latest version of ACR. The only thing that looks different with the 7D image is there is no thumbnail beside the the IMG_2304 also in the dimensions description it has 0x0.

What version of Lightroom and ACR are you using please.
 
Hi Phil Thanks for your feedback, I updated to Yosemite yesterday & all is working as it should.
