Upgrade to CS5 and or Elements 9?

Currently using CS4 and Elements 8 - I see that there is now CS5 and Elements 9. Of course you can go on forever but is there a good reason for me to upgrade ... what advantages would they give me that I shouldn't live without?

The other new thing in Elements 9 is layer masks. I use these all the time in PS5...
