As much as I love my Canon 50D ( my first DSLR), its aging now and I've had her for 5 years.

Portraiture is my genre of choice as I've been doing it for around 2 and a half years and I'm looking for advice on what Canon model to upgrade to?
Don't know if I can justify spending £2300 on a new 5D MKIII though.
Looking at the 6D (full frame) or the 7DMkII (APS-C).

Much information and thoughts are appreciated.

Thank you
Michael

If you can keep the 50D, then as your interested in portraits I'd recommend the 6D. You've still got the 50D for other activities when you need a high fps...

I'm definitely keeping my 50D. Comes in had as a second body. Its been well looked after, well maintained and only had the shutter unit replaced by Canon about 2 years ago.

I've heard the 6D doesn't take CF cards.....only SD. (scratches head).
Plus side is I only have one glass that wont be suitable for a full frame sensor.

(sarcasm)

its hard to portray in forums haha. Yes definitely minus the tax on that one.

Yeah I hear in different places that a full frame isn't the be all and end all.
At the minute I'm trying to update my portfolio and just gain experience in the portraiture genre. I'm unsure if
