Last year I was using Clikpic as a template for my site and whilst it was generally quite good there were a few niggles particularly when bulk uploading, there was still quite a bit of manual work to do which became very time consuming and tedious when I was adding multiple shots from equestrian events.

I am currently looking at Photium and taking advantage of their 30 day trial, so far it seems pretty good, easy to set up and navigate and it appears to have all of the functionality I need.

This linky will take you there and I'd appreciate any comments on my work in progress.

1st impression - Really good - from 2 mins of looking - Nice images on front screen - went into 1 gallery - nice layout.

1st gripe - the border table lines on index page and in gallery (at the side) - light grey - might it be worth making them black - do I need to see its in a table?

I'll look again later but think your on the right lines :)

The border lines do a nice job of compartmentalising (jings!) the various sections of your site if that's what you intended and I think they look fine, but if that was your intention then you need to carry the same look on through the whole site.

Agree with KIM that the borders need a little improving but also the different sizes/justification of pictures add to that distraction. Small gripe though on what looks like a nice layout.

Will you be transferring it to your main site or is this an alternative website?
 
Looking like you're getting that well on the right lines Colin.

One thought - can you make the text on the "about us" page different to that in the intro? Initially upon clicking on about us I thought it hadn't gone to the new page as the opening paragraph is the same.

I'm liking the website. It's clean, easy to navigate and effective. My only minor negative is to have the navigation bar text a darker colour to the background on which it is on. Other than that its well done :)
