Up to 400mm zoom for a Nikon D5200 - D5300

I am planning to buy either a Nikon D5200 or D5300 in the next few days, I'm just wondering if anyone can suggest a zoom lens that goes upto 400mm that I could purchase for use with the new camera. I would if possible like something with built in image stabilization. I have a 70-300mm lens I use with my Nikon D40 but would like something a bit bigger as I take a lot of airshow photos and I'm finding the 70-300mm just does not seem enough these days expect for take off and landing shots or close fly pasts.

Sigma 120-400 os or the Sigma 150-500 os. Both can be had for £450 or under, used.

Have you got any idea on budget for said lens??

Nikon do an 80-400mm, but that is the better part of 2 grand, and a 200-400mm f4 which is twice the price again

Other than that all i can think of are the Sigma and Tamron offerings

Sigma 150-500 is what I use on my d5200 for airshows
