During lockdown, I bought quite a few manual lenses and a couple of film cameras. Loved going out and snapping with them and I do have a couple of favourite ones that I'd probably keep. Problem is, nobody seems to want to buy manual lenses any more and I'm unsure what to do with the unwanted ones. I hate seeing equipment standing idle. Ideally I could do with someone to give me a reasonable price for the lenses, say half of what I paid, then use their talent to flog them on ebay.

May help if you say what they are and what they fit then post them for sale in the film classified's

It was a general comment, sorry. By the look of the way things are going in sales, nobody seems interested. Selling them in ones wouldn't be worth it.

Make a list and post in the Classifieds as suggested, with a price for the job lot. There is bound to be an F&C'er who will take them off your hands once we know what they are and how much you want. Someone might even say you are underselling them!

I only just recently purchased a Nikon 50mm 1.8 Ai circa 1979 vintage, manual lens and they seemed to be in demand. IMHO lots of us are looking for something different, I know a person on this forum that is always buying older manual lenses. I suggest you investigate the history of each lens, take some pics and get them listed individually on evilbay, you might be surprised.
PS I love the quality of my new 'Pancake' lens

Are you talking about me Steve? ;)

I agree - stick 'em up. There's always some idiot nice bloke like me who may buy them. :D

I've sold a few here recently at what I think are prices towards the bottom of the market but I think better prices might be possible on ebay where you'll possibly get a larger audience. Certainly when looking for lenses good ones at reasonable prices seem to be getting harder to find but on here there isn't too much demand for lenses at what could be cheaper ebay prices. So, maybe try them on here and if no one is interested and you're not comfortable using ebay see if a used dealer will take them.

If you are realistic with pricing they will sell on eBay and you can always set a minimum. Also some people on here will also be interested

I'd be very interested in any old and battered Nikon lenses - the more visually worn the better, and they doesn't need to even work, just be cheap....

All my lenses are MF bar one. Let us know what you have!
Yes, please do. You've whetted our appetites now. EBay you might get more but there will be fees. Here you've got a smaller market place with no fees and almost certainly much less chance of being messed about.

When I said "us" I actually meant me. OP, just shoot me a list via PM and I won't say anything to anyone in this thread.. I promise.. :ROFLMAO:

Don't forget me :)
I was 1st to reply
:film:

I'm the nicest though.

Edit. But only if they are old and battered Nikon lenses. Otherwise I'm as bad as the others.
