Unimaginable slaughter of migrating birds ( NSFW)

totally sickening , they never seem to learn and as someone said the police out there have enough trouble trying to stop them killing each other

Not just Lebanon, it (used to anyway) happens all around the med - we visited Malta some years back and out in the evening were surprised by men with guns behind us trying to blast a lone bird over the sea :rage:

pretty much anywhere on the migration routes in the med. Not just Lebanon. Doesn't make it any less sickening though

Just totally sickening. It's one thing to shoot birds if you're going to eat them but just for jollies shows what pond scum these 'humans' are. It just shows that Homo Sapiens really are the lowest form of life on the planet in general.

And cats ;) They are the lowest form of life too.

...and what about the disgusting cruelty that is inflicted on cats (and other animals) by Homo sapiens?

Ah, but a cat not only kills wontonly, the little fekkers then cunningly disguise their carnage under the guise of "gifts".

Last thing ours caught was a Blue Tit. I spotted her with an odd shaped mouth (at a distance with no specs on) so grabbed the "Chatstizer" ( a water pistol) ready for when I could see her properly. When I was sure she did have something in her gob, I let her have it and when she meowed in protest the bird escaped her gaping maw. It may have been a few feathers lighter but it didn't seem to have any problem flying away! To some extent, her captures may be Darwinism in action; 3 bells on a reflective collar mean they should be able to see and hear her coming. Considering what she used to catch when Mum and Dad had her (uncollared), I'd say the collar and bells work very well! (Now I've said that, she'll bring in a Blackbird...)

Homo Sapiens is the apex of evolution and far more advanced than anything else on the planet and anywhere else as far as we know. Sure some people are ****s but the self-hating generalised drivel really annoys me, not to mention the barely disguised racism. If you really think humans are a pox on the planet, you know what to do...

Youre absolutely right, their ingenuity when it comes to wholesale slaughter and destruction is outstanding.

You know, although it's horrible, I'll worry more about it after humans cease the wholesale slaughter of other humans for little more than sport.

There's a lot of astoundingly complicated and effective mechanisms for killing other creatures across all forms of life that put us to shame, but anyway....

I haven't seen much in the way of arts, sciences, charity etc from cockroaches, dogs, horses, or any other animals. Scum.

Well that's the human atitude that causes all the problems, didn't get the "scum" bit.

Wondering why it's OK to consider humans 'the lowest form of life' by only taking into consideration the violence and killing that is typical of all organisms, while ignoring the vast array of positive and amazing things that Homo Sapiens, and Homo Sapiens alone, has achieved.

This is just a general response to the 'humans are awful' self loathing crowd. Put your money where your mouth is if that's how you feel imo.

The human species is indeed very clever and done and continues to do some wonderful things, it's just not enough, the ant about to be crushed ponders not the wherewithall of boot leather, it's the human species obligation as top dog to look after this world and ALL inhabitants, this is where it falls short .
