Ultimate $250m pad, most expensive house in America

I don't like the ultra modern, but even if I did, it's LA, which would rule it out for me.
(Oh yeah, and the price tag)

I remember reading way back in 2008 that two areas of the economy would see strong future growth, the cheap budget end of the market (Poundland, Sports Direct, B&M etc) and the 'high end' brands (of which this is an example of, although an extreme one).

Wealth has polarised over the past few years and there seems to be an increasing number of people in the world with so much money they literally have nothing to spend it on.

If I had the sort of money that I could spend that much on a house, I'd want it built to my own specs rather than buying something off the shelf.

First thing the buyer wil do is rip out the kitchen .......

Anyone who's going to spend $250million on a house will buy it because everyone knows how much it was and they can still afford it.

If you build your own house, you'll have to spend all our time telling people how much it cost you so they know you paid so much which would just be vulgar..

I doubt if anyone with the money, and lack of taste, to buy this will give a toss if anyone thinks they are vulgar...;)

there's a giant film camera under the stairs....o_O
