UK Nikon repair centers

Where do you guys send your Nikon equipment (cameras and lens) for repair in UK? Apart from the main one from Nikon UK site.
Can you do it via local shops, or is there a known authorised popular good repair center?

I found one in Glasgow, A J Johnstone & Co, contacted them so will see what they say.

Johnstone's have been in Glasgow for a loooonnngg time. Used them years ago, they give a price and advise if it is an economic repair.
Good luck with quote if you go ahead.
 
I use these but they are in Sussex "http://camserve.co.uk" I have been to their place a couple of times to repair my nikon gear . no harm in sending them an email

No reason, just thought it could be quicker or maybe cheaper to do via other centers, than sending it to Nikon. I dont really know.
 
Be aware that it could end up at Nikon UK anyway, even if dropped off at an authorised repairer.
