Just another Typical Sunday, what's so special about a Sunday Now ? For most of us, probably nothing!

There was a time when our family got up had a Sunday breakfast, watched Sunday TV then we put on our best clothes and went out to the park. Now I get up have a cup of Coffee, with toast like I do every other day, I put my scruffiest clothes on, and stay in! Maybe Sunday was so special because most of us were off, now we work every day. I used to look forward to Sundays, but now ( unlike Boomtown Rats song ) I like Mondays, it feels like a fresh new week, even though the week starts on Sunday.

NOTE: I did do a search, just to see if this topic has been done before but nothing came up in the results, so I am going ahead and posting.

Some Sundays (and Saturdays for that matter) are better than others, but I'm not working so that's good enough for me :-)
It is raining though :(
 
Got up and did the washing up from last night. Made a coffee and sat in the garden with cats listening the the birds. Will now do half an hour clearing the loft, then make English breakfast for the family: eggs, bacon, black pudding and toast with home made marmalade. The missus and kids still snoozing but they'll be up in a minute. Weather is pretty pleasant here in Norwich.

Could be worse...:)
 
This isn't a typical Sunday for me, normally I'd have been at work 2 hours ago, but as this weekend is the Wakestock festival I'm starting late and staying even later!
 
Most Sundays involve getting up to take Mrs Nod down to her studio to let a course/workshop in for 9am, although today we have "off" since there's nothing booked in (deliberately since she wanted the weekend off). Having said that, we did go down at 10 to take advantage of the free parking to drop some new mats off and go for a cup of coffee.

We'll be off out in 1/4 hour or so to make sure we get a parking space and a preferred table at the Mill on the Exe for our Sunday roast dinner (Mrs Nod's a vegetarian so it's not really worth me getting a tiny roasting joint and the Mill do an extremely good carvery and excellent veg.) After that, a doze in the conservatory looking up (probably) at the rain hitting the roof!
 
My wifes gone out early to lytham with my youngest son (18) who is runnign a half marathon (his first) for charity... so I am fending for myself... and I am not even sure how much sugar I take in my tea.... I could die here..

My sunday is the usual july to end Sep .. two cricket matches to photogrpah for local paper.. one to be in by 4pm so must remeber the laptop.. ..1pm to 7pm photogrpahing today... this evening editing pics... one hr of telly to relax late on then bed as an early start monday photogrpahing in a school all day.

Your right.. sundays aint what they used to be :(
