Seems it's question day. The bulb has gone in my old school Patterson darkroom safe light - 240v 15W. As I haven't looked in the shops yet yet I might be prematurely apprehensive, but I haven't noticed such things around lately. Used to buy them from photographic shops but we know what the likely answer would be on that one.

Anyone know if they're standard electrical gubbins from hardware shops or do they need importing from Peru by pigeon these days. It's smallish and has a kind of dome head and two pins not screw thread. I had a supply at one time, about five houses ago.

I have might actually have a couple of those amongst the spares I have ended up with from the 3 dark rooms full of kit I have acquired. I am stuck in bed at the moment but if you can't find one let me know and I will check for you in a few days when I can get up....

EDIT: Have you got a picture as I think I remember several different bulbs.

Yes I think that I have a couple like that but will need to check and can't get to the stuff just now. If you can't get one then I should be able to help.

I'll ask around and if there's no luck, may impose on your goodwill.

The local hardware shop sell them - 98p :)

I managed to get down to the studio earlier and it took me 10 minutes to recover! Found the bulb though and it was the right one but glad to see you got one :)
