Edit My Images
Yes
Hi all,
Since 2012 I'm into the world of photography. The first images were admired by myself and then deleted within an hour or so. Later on, I invited my dear wife to have a look at my babies and yes, I deleted them again.
After that stage I wanted to show some other people my images and I put them on Flickr.
After a few years on Flickr I like to explore some other ways to get some exposure. I'm not a gloryhunter, I know my limits, but it's just another way to epress myself.
I would love to have my own website. I don't know why, maybe it's because the possibillity to create something in a more personal way. But who will find my website? Yes, my dear wife again and my family ans some friends. Maybe my colleagues if I ask them.
But then, hey, who will be the next visitor? Advertise on telly?
No website at the moment I think.
Facebook or twitter? Two options, although I'm not a person who walks around with a mobile every minute of the day. I'm a teacher, so that don't work and I don't want to, to be honest.
Can you tell what the cons and pros are of Facebook and/or Twitter?
What would you recommend me?
Thanks for reading my message. Maybe next time I will highlight my question, so that you can skip the boring part.

People will find your website if your S.E.O is good enough or there is always Adwords.

Facebook will limit what your audience will see in their news feeds so even if they like your Facebook page they won't see many of your posts unless you pay to boost them.

Twitter is a bit of a mess with such a flood of posts it will be more difficult to draw attention.

Instagram might be a better option for you a few well chosen #hastags can still get decent exposure.

A combination of all would be better if you are wanting to reach a wide audience using your social media accounts to drive people to your money site.

All this is elementary though you need to decide who you want to reach, find out what online options they use and then use that.

I'd recommend that you share some of your work on here... that way there would be a bunch of other photographers looking at it, providing feedback on your shot, perhaps giving tips as to how it could be improved, or simply saying how much they like it. Feedback from your peers... just the way to improve your work, so that you get to the point that you DON'T want to just delete everything within a week of shooting.

Plus, you can also set up a link in your signature, which will publicise your personal website...

Either

upload the pictures into our gallery (tutorial here - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/tutorials/how-to-add-photos-to-your-gallery.9/) - please ensure that Images up loaded to your gallery must not exceed 1024px on the longest side, nor 350Kb in size. Resize (i.e. shrink) them on your PC before uploading

or

link your shots from your flickr account - tutorial here - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/tutorials/inserting-images-from-flickr-updated-22-08-15.7/
