with all of the weather issues today ive been monitoring South West Trains twitter feed as its the most up to date information for delays, cancellations following flooding and trees down etc.

what is wrong with some people? do they not have windows where they are..? some of my personal "favs":

  • well done yet again, standing room only on a 16.15 Waterloo to Portsmouth Hbr and only 5 cars. Is this not peak time?
  • No #tubestrike but delayed train from Southampton courtesy of the @SW_Trains #irony
  • stop lying to passengers and help people paying good money to use your service
  • **ck heads.
  • I understand and appreciate that. The issue is that this accidents happen every week and paying customer should not accept that.
  • @SW_Trains have been dreadful recently #badservice
  • train is delayed for the second time today and this time for over an hour! Great job swtrain, keep your customers happy!

in fairness South West trains are frustrating to deal with and do have some stupid (just my opinion) ideas. The current weather is exceptional though
 
I don't commute but the mrs does (on Greater Anglia) and checking the early morning tweets with a cup of tea is one of my occasional morning highlights - especially when the service is up the spout. :)

And one of my favourites is a woman that posts to simply say "Your service is s***" but when asked what train or route she's on says "I'm not telling you" :LOL:

to be fair ive never had too much bother. bit of a pain when they skip stations due to late running.

Knowing you are a bit of a computer whizz, I really did scratch my head and wonder what 'peoples'' operating systems had to do with anything :oops: :$

Unfortunately they are forced to deal with alot of the public, which unfortunately have a massive amount of stupid people amongst them.
 
ultan is probably a desk jockey who spends all day on tw@ter/Farsebook instead of working anyway. If he'd like to sit on the rails, I'm sure Irish Rail would be happy not to delay the trains...
