TV Derry Girls

Anyone watching this 6 part comedy...

I am finding it worth watching. Not seen a comedy about the troubels in Nortehrn ireland before.. Is it a first? and it does take on a lot of the issues.... charactors are a bit OTT and it's not laugh out loud funny but the subject matter? brave? but a long time coming..

Haven't watched it, but wife and girls, love it Not the first comedy about the troubles, but probably the first, to get a much larger audience.

I'm a Derry man, so I'm glad to see it being successful and we've always been very good, at laughing at ourselves

Considering the times its set and i was around the same age as the main charactors i think it's well done
