Has anyone been to this ? I am going in a couple of weeks, their ticketing info says no large items of luggage allowed in . I am wanting to take my Lowepro back back. I have emailed them but just get a generic email back with their FAQ's which isn't very clear.

Yes , they say photography is definitely allowed , but just worried about being allowed in with my back pack .

If it is anything like the Tutankhumn exhibition I went to back in the 1970s in London it will be great, I loved it.
Me too. One of the lasting memories of my childhood.

It was going to see it in London as a little boy, then going to The Valley of the Kings and KV62 got me to fall in love with anything Egyptian.
Same here, we did the Valley of the Kings as part of our visit to Egypt. Brilliant place.

Looking at the site FAQ's I would think anything other than a very small bag would be frowned upon, but it is hard to tell really.

saw it in Cairo in their museum. now cameras were allowed

I am going on 14th Feb with my Mrs as it's a big birthday for me and I missed it last time, determined not to miss it this time. Hope you enjoy it and do please update the thread as I want to take a small bag with a couple of Fuji bodies and maybe 2 lenses. Plus it would be nice to hear your thoughts on the actual exhibition itself. I am very excited to be going.
