Tui Greek cruise.

I can't think of what possessed people to get on a cruise ship right now. We love cruising, we've done 5 or 6 over the last 15 years, but getting on a cruise liner right now couldn't be further from my thoughts....

As they say, you reap what you sow....

There are (or were on Sunday) 2 liners parked in Tor Bay. Not much call for them ATM.

Until the other day 6 cruise liners were berthed in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, 1 or maybe 2 have left heading for Turkey this week.

i'm over at the greek house now, have been since we could fly out.
will be travelling back end september when the furlough scheme ends.

Further to the original post:-

It has been reported this morning that further tests at Piraeus of the 12 crew members of the TUI cruise liner ‘Mein Schiff 6’, who tested positive for Covid-19, have now proved negative. If correct, it is assumed that the first positive results from tests undertaken when the ship was docked at Crete, were due to an error at the laboratory on the island.

According to TUI, further tests will be conducted on all the ship’s crew to fully confirm the situation.

Update: Further Covid-19 tests of the crew have returned clear results, confirming that the positive test results from the twelve crew members obtained in Crete were inaccurate.

Still glad I'm not there! :)

Well I'm glad they are clear, but feel sorry for the passengers who've lost days of their trip.
