Tropical World Photo shoot

So for something to do and an excuse to play with my new camera for the first time really, i have decided to go to Tropical World in Leeds tomorrow, any tips for a new photographer to get the best type of shots for things such as butterflies and other small animals, there is also a waterfall.

Not the best lighting in tropical world tbh, but up the ISO a bit if needed to keep the shutter speed as quick as possible.
Waterfall isn't much to write home about, it's dark and a bit grim. But drop your ISO, and up your fstop for longer shutter speeds for blurred water if that's your thing.

Ah i didn't know there was a meet, i only have a couple of hours spare or i'd of popped up. thanks for the tips, ill bear that in mind.

I know tropical world isn't the best place but its supposed to be raining and its indoors, next time i have a weekend free in the sun I'm going to go to Yorkshire Safari or Yorkshire Sculpture park and get some snaps there.

Sculpture park is decent, shame you can't do the meet tomorrow.
