tripods which head is best

Pistol grip or Ball head which is better ? i am looking at new tripods and i do not have a huge budget (thanks to camron and cleg) so after reading a post on here about red snapper i have decided that their for me so which tripod head would be better any advise would be great as you have never let me down yet thanks

Hey I got the RedSnapper carbon fibre with the ball head. Superb build quality and very recommended
