Hi, I'm looking to purchase a Tripod for a few holiday night shots and also Landscape stuff for when i'm out on the mountainbike.

Budget is not huge, No more than £100 please and if its possible, quite portable that i can take with me on holiday and also on the mountainbike.

Regards

Marc

type 'Tripods' into the search function.

Or, to save you the bother, check out 'Redsnapper' tripods. You'll come in well under budget

Or even a Gorillapod

If you are after a more travel style tripod then the Giottos Vitruvian would be ideal though would be about £25 over budget. At the budget end you may consider the Hama traveller compact pro.

To be about as portable as you can get, Joby Gorillapod SLR Zoom depending on price/weight/usability preference, with or without a ballhead fitted.

Or one of the lighter versions if its only ever going to be a compact going ontop.

7d with a sig 50-150mm and Gorillapod slr zoom.

Great portability although i havnt got the bottle to wrap it around a drain pipe yet

I saw them on holiday in Rhodes and was contemplating getting one. They were 18.70. Wish I'd got one now. Are they sturdy enough? Also they will be fine with my Fujifilm S1500

They sell two versions. The compact camera version is cheaper than the dslr version which is stronger and supports more weight.

I'D probably be better with the DSLR ones as no doubt i will upgrade to a Canon/Nikon someday and the Fuji seems alot heavier than most compacts.
