Tripod that will fit a canon EOS 600D

No, its for compacts.
You will need something a bit sturdier.

i need the cheapest tripod that will support the DSLR weight but not a tripod that will break at the end of the day lol

The whole point of a tripod is to provide a stable platform to support your camera to prevent any movement during the picture taking process. A really cheap tripod may not perform that function very well as they are often built with spindly legs and poor loccking mechanisms to keep the costs down.

As with so many things connected to photography, you get what you pay for.

looks like i will have to invest some money into getting a tripod i am looking into spending £50-£60 pounds

have a look at the Red Snapper range - well built, sturdy and just within your price range.

Lightweight, sturdy, cheap - with tripods the best you can usually do is two out of those three :)

I've not got one personally but at the money you're talking a lot of people seem to rate the RedSnapper range of tripods.

My Giottos kit was about £110 for legs and head - that's pretty much the base price to start looking at for the Manfrotto, Gitzo, Giottos type products.

Generally steer clear of the £30 Currys, Jessops type of thing - from what I've seen they're not a good long term investment......

im going to use the tripod in citys for taking long exposure shots and will use it alot from time to time hope that helps
