Hi guys, part of the central column lock on my manfrotto mk394-pq recently snapped off, meaning I can't lock the central column in position. Can anyone recommend a heavy duty adhesive/bond to try and glue it bAck together? The lock is in the link with the points 1 and 2 diagram:

Why not just Araldite the centre column in the down position, more stable that way and from the specs still gives you a 4ft 2in height.

My tripod doesn't have a centre column and never used it on ones I have owned that did.

Yeah that's a good idea, it still gives me more than enough height without central column. Cheers for the tip!

If you do go with that idea perhaps cut a good part of the centre column off, might as well save a bit of weight and make it easier to get down low if needed.
