Tripod recommendations for a DSlR ?

I have this tripod & have recommended to several people on this forum which have gone & purchased it & confirmed it to be a very good product.
It comes with a bag, spare quick release plate & mini tool for attaching & tightening.
It holds my set up which weighs 5kg.
It can be reversed upside down or put horizontal & also any angle locked in between zero & 180 degrees.
£129 inc p&p

Can thoroughly recommend the Uniloc system tripods, also Benbo which are pretty much the same thing. They take a bit of getting used to but once you've had one you'll never go back to a standard tripod. You should get a good used model in your budget.

2nd that for Redsnapper, Don't know if they sill have promotion for 10% off RED10 if I remember right.

Just a point, but if you ever plan to use your DSLR for video production as well, make sure you take that in to account when choosing. I bought a tripod that I thought would do me for both photography and video, but for the latter it turned out to be utterly dreadful.
