Tripod problem

I have a Manfrotto 055 PROB tripod with 804RC2 head
Canon 5D Mk I, bettery grip and Canon 70-200 f/2.8

all works a treat

I recently got the 5D Mk II

I have noticed that with the 70-200 lens and battery grip I can't get the lens on/off the tripod

yet it all works fine with the Mk I

any ideas how to fix?:shrug:

i had the same problem with >70-200+ D300 and when fitted the battery grip solved by turning the QR plate 90 degrees on the foot of the lens mount collar .
