Been semi-looking at picking up a half frame, i did shoot a roll through a borrowed one a few months ago and loved the point&shoot aspect of it. Was great fun and a 3x2 print is pretty cool :) Although shooting a 36exp film through it was a rookie error.. :) 72 shots took a while to get through!

I've stumbled across this website that seems to be selling restored PEN's, also have some pretty swanky ones new leatherette :)

Has anyone ordered from TripMan? I haven't found anything here on the forum about the site but it seems pretty good :)

And lets be honest, this camera looks pretty awesome :)

I've not bought a camera from him, but I did get a strap for my X10 and a filter for my Trip 35. Folk here seem to speak highly of him...

OTOH I don't think I'd want one of those "blinged-up" Trips for any money. :gag:

Not down with the Kids eh? :P

Was it one of the Gordy straps? What do you think of it?

Heard good things regarding reliability and purchasing from the website - one to trust. IMO I think they look horrid, but that is personal taste. Personally I'd just pick up a stock one with a working red flag/selenium meter that wasn't heavily used, it only has two shutter speeds and is very easy to test at purchase.

I'm sure there's a smart reply here but my brain's too ancient to think of it!

Yes, I bought the Gordy strap (black+red) for the X10 before going on a trip to Israel and the West Bank. I think it is great; it feels really secure, and suits the camera really well. I should have bought it earlier though; it takes time to soften, and was a little rough at first (camera to hand nearly all day for 10 days!).

Yea he has a good reputation so don't worry about buying from him, bought a few accessories from him a while back for my 35 RC with no problems.

His prices are very reasonable, the Trip 35 isn't an expensive camera but £50 for a camera in excellent cosmetic condition, recovered and fully serviced is a bargain, same with the Pen models.

Good to know the site isn't a Dud :)

Just trying to justify a Done up PEN and a Gordy strap now :P I want, but can i really justify it... :D
