Yes
I have seen a Kirk Arca style tripod foot on that well known internet auction website for my Nikon 400mm f2.8 and is £36.00 inc free postage but its from China!!
Should i steer clear as it seems a good deal but i am rather reluctant to go ahead, perhaps the quality of the product is substandard.

Thoughts please.

I see no reason why you should expect there to be major quality issues, there are many 'alternatives' to the highly priced 'Western World' manufactured products.

I use a cheapo Chinese one on my 70-200. No complaints. The quality is excellent.

Kirk is an American company, shipping from the US, so unlikely to be genuine. Link? That doesn't mean it won't be up to the job, or even indistinguishable from the real thing.

The problem, and it's a rare one in my experience (I have maybe a couple of dozen different Chinese Arca-Swiss bits) is there's no officially written Arca-Swiss standard, so everything is copied. If it's a copy of a copy of a copy, errors can creep in. And also, if you measure a 5/8in lighting stud for example, you might assume it's supposed to be 16mm, but it's actually 15.88mm. I have a few of those too.

Well I bought the tripod foot. It bolts to the lens and feels accurate so I am happy. It took about 6 weeks to get here but I was in no rush.
