Hi there, hope someone can help!

My Wavesync trigger/receivers for my Lencarta Safari 600 Classic have mysteriously stopped working, and Lencarta don't make these any more. Their website says that the Classic is compatible with Yongnuo radio triggers, and I have some of these, the RF603-C. However, I don't have a sync cable to connect one trigger to the Classic.

Can anyone advise what kind of cable this is and if this is the sort of thing I can buy at Maplins? I need to get it working ASAP and can't really rely on waiting for postal deliveries, particularly for something that I might order that might not be right!

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks :)

amazingly enough I got this exact set (Lencarta 600 Safari Classic) a week ago...
I bought the Yongnuo 602's (1 x trigger & 2 recievers) from amazon. - £30.55 & they work fine.

Search for this:

Thanks Diving Pete - but it was a cable I can buy over the counter I'm looking for, as I can't wait for Amazon delivery unfortunately! Good to know that your set works fine with the Classic though.

Not sure if I'm being dim, but are the 602's a separate receiver and trigger - is this different to the 603's, which I understood can act as trigger or receiver, so you don't get the separate units?

yes - but shouldn't make any difference.. You require the synch lead to act as the trigger.. - mine only took 2 days - pay the extra you can get it next day...

Yep 602's work fine :) . I got mine from premier ink , very quick delivery . It might be worth investing in a couple of sets . I have a few different triggers just in case of interference or failures .

Thanks for the replies guys - I just got a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter from Maplin which means I can use the standard cable which came with my Yonguos. £2.49, winner!

I've got four RF602s in total, so hopefully covered in case of any failures.

Glad I checked all my lighting kit well in advance of needing it - a lesson there learnt, I've often checked the day before, which might not have been long enough to get any problems sorted.
