tried out the 5d

today i got my hands on a 5d and was very impressed, very wide compared to my 10d and faster, will post a few pics when I get time. also had a play with some different lens's the 85L wow. and the 50 f1.2 both incredible .
would like to thank canonbob for taking the time to meet up and let me have a go with his kit hope i can do the same sometime.
now I have to save some money

how much better is the 1.2, apart from the extra half-stop, that is?

Yeah that 5D is awesome.

I was amased at the speed, I kept taking 2 photos by accident becuase it was so quick. My lens is so slow compared to the setup I used (a 5D with Canon 10-30mm L f/1.6).

you will have to forgive me if I dont explain it to well, but I found it let more light in so I could shot at a higher shutter speed, which today didnt really matter but there would be loads of times it would, I do have the 1.4 and I have to say although it is better I dont think I could justify the extra money. but who knows later on.
