Well here's another real world exciting thread from me :D

I'm off on my trip to Canada very soon and need to sort travel insurance. Who is good to use? (I'll be taking my laptop and some camera kit).

Thanks!

I've used insureandgo in the past - very reasonable.

I always take annual whole-world travel insurance with American Express. I think it's about £140 ish for two adults. Not the cheapest but then I don't think it is wise to try and save pennies on travel insurance.

call free on 0800 700 707

Direct line here. All risks extension on the household cover and separate travel policy.

I'm doing the very same thing shortly & used Asda Insurance (backed by Norwich Union) for the trip. I've covered the camera equipment etc though by adding extra "personal possession" onto my house insurance - works out cheaper & the cover is better too

surely sEArching for holiday insurance on google should bring up some insurance search engines a bit like confused but obviously for travel insurance, it should do anyway as i went with a company i found through a search engine
