Got it sorted.

Hi guys
My wife has a new android phone to replace her old iPhone 5.
I've managed to copy most things to her android phone, but not the music.
Is there an easy way to do this?
I've noticed that although she has 300 songs on her iPhone, there's only about 60 in the iTunes library on the mac.
I'm demented so hopefully you can help...:)

I've used Senuti (https://senuti.org/) to do this. AFAIK it's Mac only but Google Senuti Windows for alternatives. If you know what you're doing with *nix you can do it from the terminal but Senuti makes it easy.

Once they are off the phone, you can use Android Transfer to put them on the Android.

However, if they have DRM on them (and some from the iStore do and some don't) then there is no legal way to play them on the Android :( Google will help you if you believe you have a moral right to listen to music you have paid for.

Hi Jonathan
I manage to sort out the music thanks.
The WhatsApp messages though, that's another story.
I transferred from my old android to new android without issue, but the iphone/iTunes is a pita:)
Cant get her old WhatsApp messages back.

She obviously didn’t have whatsapp set to automatically back up. You can turn it on in the app settings.

She did, and I also did a back up from her iPhone which it says is 1.3gb, but when I set up WhatsApp on her new phone it restores the backup with all her contacts and chat groups etc, but not her messages. For some reason when it restores, it says the backup is only 350kb.
