track days

I'm fairly new to photography, being honest I only been once to shoot and that was at BTCC at Brands Hatch last October, got some nice shots, only had the camera a day!, Now knowing what i'm doing and what to do and where to shoot, are you allowed to just turn up at track days and shoot?

Whats the situation with track days?

Yes you can just turn up at places like Oulton Park and watch for free, if its a organised event it will be a charge to get in.

Hi Burtoner,

At Brands Hatch any trackday or test day is free for spectators to attend.And as you probably saw, Brands has loads of great spots to shoot from. I cover all the MSVT trackdays at Brands, come and say hello if you go to one!

you could also go to the club racing circuits, like three sisters or aintree usally costs about afiver to gain access there are bound to be some of the smaller circuits around or near to you ( don't know what area you from )
