KK No 4 Eurasian wryneck A very interesting bird, one of a kind. It has a long sticky tongue like a woodpecker's and can turn its head in all directions. Unfortunately, it can only be seen on the continent.

KK No 5 Rosy starling. In Europe, it is found on the Balkan Peninsula, nesting in abandoned quarries between stones, but not every year.

KK No 6 Little bittern The bird chooses a solitary reed to have greater visibility on the water surface. The next 2 photos are from the same pond.

KK No7 Black-crowned night heron It hunts in the shallows surrounded by the Nymphoides peltata, just before they open their flowers under the sun. The young bird is significantly different from the adult in its patterns and does not yet have the black crown as its name suggests.
