As you may have noticed, we are on a bit of roll at the moment with new ideas and here is the next one.
This is easy peasy and will be a bit of festive fun. What we want is for as many of you as possible to send us your favourite christmas themed images you have taken over the years to the email address below. The staff will choose their favourite 24 images, and each day one of them [the pictures, not the staff] will appear on the forum as that days Advent Image.
So, the 'rules' for what they are...
We would be hugely grateful if you could resize to 800px on longest side, that way we can make sure that every pic appears in the same 'space'
By all means leave your usual stuff in the exif, once the Advent is over all the copies we have will be destroyed and will of course not be used for anything else. If you can avoid watermarks, that would be good as your name/user name will appear with the image anyway.
If you can send them to advent@talkphotography.co.uk please and include your forum name and real name in the mail [please say if you would rather your real name wasn't published]
Finally, do remember, this is some festive fun and you all get the anticipation of opening the forum each day to see if yours has been chosen. Obviously we may get more then 24 images, so we can only apologise in advance for any not chosen.
Otherwise, no heavy rules, can be landscape or portrait, any processing, digital, scanned film, phone, whatever you like, from any year as long as it was taken by you. We just want great fun christmas images that will make everyone ohhhh or ahhhh or even both
