Yes
Bit of a coincidence that most of those cars are usually driven by lads who drive them for the power....and subsequently can't handle it. ;)

if you read the artical, it states that its down to the long distance executives and salesmen....... ' young lads ' cant afford em....

Debra Williams, Managing Director of Confused.com said: “It’s hard to pinpoint why this trend has occurred. In comparison to small cars however, it’s fair to say that luxury and executive cars have among the highest accident rates because they are often used for long distance travel, with busy, stressed and tired executives behind the wheel.” She added: “Whatever the car, people should remember to take regular breaks and maintain a safe distance from the car in front.”

its not all boy racers u know

my car isnt on either list , and its an executive one:naughty:

I would have expected "White Van" to be on the list:lol:

Another thing that jumps out at me is that these lists are based on insurance claims. The more expensive the car, the more likely you are to be claiming for even the smallest amount of damage, whilst the rest of us tend to ignore minor cosmetic damage or fix it ourselves to avoid impact on our NCB.

its a bit of a stupid survey, as many of the cars in the least likely catagory are well, amde by rover or vauxhll and as such as they are old cars are more than likely to have rusted away and as such are not on the road to actuallt be involved in accidents....

its all a bit of a muchness really, i think witch has it correct, if somoene causes any sort of damage to my 1979 mini im not gonna claim on the insurance simply ebacuse they will write the car off, meaning im the one that looses out, however im likely to claim if someone nudges my 2005 ford focus....

statistics are as a rule misleading!
