I'd struggle to pick a favourite there, all spot on.

Good set there Tom

I`m liking the Shield Bug, for it`s different perspective...

tom...i',m not a bug man personally...but you really know how to capture the detail

Lovely shot's and some great detail in them, am liking no.3 a lot, keep it up.

Thankyou. Im really loving Macro and its started me going to the GYM because with the setup i have you need good core strength, and being a fat b****r i dont have it, so am changing that pronto!

Thankyou, it was rolling around in the leaves and was really very shy.

Great start Tom. So I'll put you down as four shots a day then shall I?!!!!!

Cough, maybe! :) Lets see what happens

Thankyou, flattered. Im new to macro and have seen some amazing photos on here and they have really inspired me to get out there and shoot. Its tough to begin with, i use the rocking method and find it works well.

Thankyou. 3 for me too! Im loving macro, just need to find some more bugs!!

Great shots.....

I really like 2 and 4...

Thanks for the comments. I think im going to try and turn this into 1 a day as well, but wont add that to the rules just in case i cant do it.

Today's.

Having been at the beach all day i could have shown some lovely photos. That is if it hadn't been a enforced "NO CAMERA DAY". One of 6 a month that are enforced by my wife :)

So my wife went upstairs for 10 minutes, i used my fridge as the subject a put the 50mm (that was primed and ready to go) down to F1.4, but at min focal distance F1.4 was to much, so rolled the dial back to F2.

The Result, nothing special. I was focused on "The Comedy Store London" as i thought it was quite funny i was sneaking around with my camera.

very sneaky Tom, good shot though.

I love your insect shots. They are nice and sharp. I never have much success with insects - they usually don't want to pose.

Jenny

Number 6 of the week for me. Sorry for the lack of posting but ive had a manic week.

This photo nearly made the "Rejected" pile until i noticed the little scorpion on the right front leg. I say Scorpion, i say that loosesly as im not sure exactly what it is. I didnt notice it at the time. If anyone has any info on the little guy (Either the Spider or the Scorpion) it would be greatly apreciated.

Thankyou. The little guy was about 2-3mm based against the size of the harvestman... Tiny!!

wow... scary looking thing....

Great shot, lovely and sharp......

Amazing shot! Scary creature though.

Wow, that close up of the scorpion thingy is amazing. I have never seen anything like it (but at that size I guess I would never see it anyway!). I wonder what it is?

I love your fungus shot from today. Smack bang in the middle of the picture breaking all the rules. Very effective.

Jenny

Love your set for today..... the cobweb detail in the 2nd ladybird shot ...brilliant

I know, when i was framing it i thought long and hard. wanted it to be central for maximum impact of the dead space round it.
