Edit My Images
Yes
i suppose this is a bit of weird time to start a 365, but what the hell. i started yesterday. but first some background on me - seeing as i haven't really posted many times around here (i tend to lurk!)

i'm nearly 18, and i have just started a national diploma in photography. i use film, so some shot's won't be from the day they were published but i dont' see this as a problem. i will most likely post a film shot on a day when i don't get the chance to shoot anything outside, instead of posting several pictures of my dog. or instead of that, for the first picture!

but seeing as i am doing a national diploma in photography, i should hopefully have plenty of images to show y'all, like this one from the studio today.

hopefully i can get some decent constructive criticism from some of the older/experienced heads on here, it would be appreciated!

Good luck on your 365, interesting to see you doing film, would love to study photography myself :)

yay, a reply!

it's good. i mean there are several cons to it, but the most part i'm enjoying it. the cons are the amount of morons on the course - and let me tell you, there are several! they nearly drove me to insanity yesterday due to me not having my iPod with me! one went as far as stating forgery is terrorism!

on film, i love it. i always liked it before going to college, but actually developing/scanning/printing them is just awesome. i can really see my self shooting more film than digital from now on, except for my music photography, and skateboard where digital really does prevail (not saying i don't use film for these, but being able to see how your shots are coming out straight away is a huge help, especially for a relative newcomer)

Love the composition of the 3rd shot, nice contrast against the white sky too, works very well in B&W

I'm not able to comment much at all at the moment due to no broadband at home, so have to grab the odd minute at work.

perspective is sadly not 100% on, but it will do. shot a few rolls of film there too - medium format and 35mm .

I really like those, especially 7, 8 and 11... any chance you could post your pictures in a bit of a higher resolution? sorry if that's a stupid question and it's not possible due to you shooting on film. I've never really done that. Really like your colours, contrasts and perspectives, though.

thanks!

in regards to their size, i thought having small size files would be better for the thread. infact, i export them in lightroom at that size, but from now on i might start posting them on flickr at 800(longest) or so. well see. http://www.flickr.com/photos/thomasskeen

finally scanned all my film in,

shot on my olympus om10, with fuji extra superia which is apparently out of date (doesn't look it much!) pushed to 800 , shot a gig on half the roll.
